History.
The road to success however, has not been smooth. Started on 10 th April 1996, UMIPL was the first organization of its kind. Imitating UMIPL’s business model, thousands of companies mushroomed to make a quick buck, taking away the most important ingredient for success of any business: the trust of people. To curb the dishonest intentions of these companies, erstwhile GIC of India released though measures, which ultimately saw the disappearance of these companies. However, having witnessed UMIPL’s genuine efforts to promote the welfare measure, GIC made an exception in favor UMIPL. UMIPL covered a full circle in promoting insurance, when LIC of India formally consented to offer life insurance through UMIPL in Dec. 2000.
ORGANIZATION CONCEPT
The entire organization can be divided into three distinct identities as follows:
1.The Top Management consisting the Board of Directors:
UMIPL management is a board of 2 directors who lead and facilitate the work through issuance of guidelines and policies. The directors have over 20 years of experience in running relationship-marketing programmes in India that gives them unparalleled advantage to lead the UNIQUE Plan Users (discussed under point 3 below) best. They have realized the potential within each individual and the immense contribution he/she can make towards betterment of the society while improving his/her own living standard.
2. The Offices consisting the Employees on payroll of UMIPL:
Today UMIPL boasts of countrywide presence, with its head office at Ahmedabad, 43 helpcenters & 41 helpdesks. A branch head and his term, who facilitate the working of UNIQUE Plan User, manage each branch. The branch also provides facilities to hold small and short group meetings for UNIQUE Plan User. Offices are opened in areas where business grows to a certain minimum level. UMIPL aims to have a branch office in each district of the Indian states.
3. The Field Fraternity
This is the face of UMIPL in the market, and a solid proof of the outcome of its efforts. Starting form less than 10, today more than 3 lacs people are actively engaged in promoting UBC (discussed in next chapter). These are the individuals, referred to as UNIQUE Talents elsewhere, who have adopted UMIPL platform to fulfill their financial requirements and /or self-imposed social obligations. This prospectus is issued so that more and more individuals can understand how they can adopt UMIPL platform to gain financial freedom and also do a great service to fellow beings. |
