All these Industrial developments have only been possible because Mother earth has blessed this part of the land with mineable reserves of Coal. Northern Coalfields Limited, the PSU coal major and the highest profit making subsidiary of Coal giant “Coal India Ltd” is the only feeder to these power, chemical and cement plants located within the vicinity of Singrauli Industrial Zone. With many billion tones of coal being mined for the last 35-40 yrs, it still sits on a geographical reserve of more than 8.7 billion tones, which can be mined for another 35-40 Years.
